This demonstration will discuss the indications of composites nowadays. It will approach actual techniques for composite layering (dentin/chromatic/achromatic enamel) and the modified techniques using less layers as well as the low shrinkage composites. The step-by-step sequence of each technique is described along with the challenges and essentials of each one. Results obtained by research done in NYU will be also presented.
