Competence in Esthetics 2026 in Sarajevo brings a concentrated clinical and laboratory focus: high-esthetic ceramics and laboratory protocols, high-esthetic composites and layering techniques, new possibilities of zirconium oxide ceramics, premium aesthetic anterior restorations, multifunctional composites, and adhesive procedures as the foundation of a minimally invasive approach.

The program is a one-day event, structured with panels and breaks, featuring workshops as practical extensions of the main topics. This year's novelty is a separate, parallel program for dental assistants, covering topics of preventive fluoridation, sterilization protocols, and dental materials in preventive dentistry.

As in previous editions, Competence is not only about professional lectures but also a unique opportunity for networking with leading dental professionals, as well as an exceptional chance to familiarize yourself with the innovations, protocols, and technologies that will shape the future of your practice and laboratory—for the better.

14 Speakers and 2 Programs 

This year's edition of the Competence symposium will feature as many as 14 speakers, with the program unfolding across two parallel panels. The main program is designed for doctors of dental medicine and dental technicians, while the additional program is fully tailored to the needs of dental assistants. Competence in Esthetics 2026 also includes two workshops, of which Ronaldo Hirata’s will take place the day before the symposium begins—on April 24th.

The official language of the symposium is English, with simultaneous translation provided into Croatian/Bosnian/Serbian.
